Reliable transportation is essential to fulfilling the mission of Rooted Interiors, and that’s why our Wheels to Root Capital Campaign is so important. Currently, we rely on borrowed or rented vehicles to deliver furniture and essential items to families transitioning out of homelessness. Having our own dedicated vehicle will not only streamline operations but also allow us to serve more families efficiently and effectively. With a vehicle of our own, we can reduce costs, respond to urgent needs faster, and extend our reach to help even more families create stable, welcoming homes. Your support will directly drive our ability to make a lasting impact in our community, one delivery at a time.
why a fully furnished home matters
Creating a home where those emerging from homelessness can plant roots in is at the heart of what we do. According to HUD, up to 50% of families return to homelessness within a year of securing housing. Although entering housing is an important step in the journey out of homelessness, an empty house isn't a home and a roof alone is not enough to solve the problem.
As the demand for our services continues to grow, so does our need for reliable transportation to support the families we serve. That’s why we’re proud to launch the Wheels to Root Capital Campaign! With a dedicated delivery vehicle, Rooted Interiors can efficiently transport furniture and essential items, ensuring every family transitioning out of homelessness receives the support they need.
